TEAM BUILDNG

Dynamic Facilitation

Our Services

Peter offers a service to his clients that is fundamentally based upon a ‘return on investment’. Many companies offer a ‘team building’ experience. Most of these offer games that are fun, outdoors and physical exercise. Whilst, in my opinion, there is nothing wrong with taking employees away from their workplace for a change of scenery and to experience group exercises. The understanding is lost as to why they will now work better together when they return to work.

Comments like: “your team only won because they cheated”; “I twisted my ankle’; “I don’t like games”; I got exhausted”; “I got sunburn, it was too hot” are said.

Obviously, there are positive comments: “It was great to get out of the office”; “It was fun”; “When can we do it again?”.

The point is that you rarely hear a comment of “We will now work better at work after this experience”

What does Spindlove Events offer?

Team dynamics facilitation - Sessions to deal with the issues that are happening in the work place. For example: amalgamation of two offices with different attitudes and biases; an office where older employees keep information to themselves and do not share; interdepartmental communication issues; blame culture; etc.

Other areas covered include stress in the workplace, taking stress home, bringing stress from home, soft skills (email etiquette, meeting etiquette, communication, etc.) conflict resolution, relationships, problem solving, decision making, motivation, etc.

How Does It Work?

Peter will initially listen to the need, requirements and specifications of what the issue is and what the company wants to achieve from a session. He then formulates a session plan to facilitate the group to achieve the aim.

The primary word is ‘facilitation’. The group has the answers – Peter works, encourages, communicates and facilitates the group for them to identify a way forward. What must be remembered is that when Peter leaves, the group must be autonomous and aware of how they can work together for the betterment of themselves and the company.

Facilitation (2)

Each client receives a NDA (Non-disclosure Agreement) secrecy document which provides security and confidence that nothing discussed or disclosed during the facilitation is spoken about or broadcast after the event.
